B.L.A.S.T Wednesday Night Children’s Ministry
5 years old through 6th grade
Wednesdays at 6:00pm
Bring your child each Wednesday night for B.L.A.S.T. (Believe, Learn, and Seek Truth) – a fun night of Bible stories, snacks, crafts, and games! The children love the Emmy-nominated SUPERBOOK video series as it brings Scripture to life and leads to discussion about the difference between knowing about God instead of truly knowing Him! Please join us in Cottage 2 for a fun night with our church family. For more information, contact Katherine Trock-Akin at 387-0566 ext 209.
W.O.R.D. Puppet Team Ministry
4th through 12th grade
The W.O.R.D. Puppet Team Ministry is committed to worship, outreach, relationships, and discipleship and is a fantastic ministry for our kids! It is offered for those in the 4th grade and above. They meet for practice on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00pm in the Chi Rho House. This is a great opportunity to learn the art of puppetry, and build relationships with other youth as we minister to our church family and the community. New members may join our current team at our Puppet Team Orientation and Training on September 16th from Noon-3pm. For more information, contact Cindy McLaughlin at 387-0566, ext. 210.
Rooted: A Youth Bible Study
7th through 12th grade
Our Bible study/small group program is open to all students currently in 7th grade of older. The small group format lends itself to more discussion-based lessons and is a great way to dive into Scripture together. Contact Ben Cheny at 387-0566, ext. 215.
The Meaning of Marriage
June 5 – July 24 Canterbury Hall
Led by Fr. Andrew and Dcn. Morgan Clark
How do Christians understand marriage? Moving beyond secular definitions of marriage as self-fulfillment, Tim and Kathy Keller provide a Christian vision for marriage in their book The Meaning of Marriage. Join Fr. Andrew and Dcn. Morgan as they look at how God uses marriage and singleness to help people grow closer to Him.
The Book of Ruth
June 5 – July 24 Emmaus Room
Led by Dinah McLemore
Filled with the memorable stories of Ruth, Naomi, and Boaz, the Book of Ruth is a beautiful story of redemption and God’s care for the outsider. Join Dinah McLemore as she explores the story and themes of the Old Testament book using a study created by Sandra Richter, author of The Epic of Eden.
Children’s Celebration Choir
Our Celebration Choir sings periodically on Sunday mornings during the Offertory. Children ages 5 through 6th grade are invited to join. Rehearsals are every Wednesday, 5:30-6:00pm. If your child is interested in singing, contact Thomas Bowers at 387-0566, ext. 217, or email@example.com.
Adult Chancel Choir
Come sing with us! Our adult choir leads worship every Sunday with hymns, anthems, and traditional chant, pulling from the richness of the Anglican choral tradition. We rehearse Wednesday evenings 5:45-7:00pm, and Sunday mornings at 8:30am. For more information on joining the choir, contact Thomas Bowers at 387-0566, ext. 217, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
